Nearly 40 years of friendship. Many happy memories, laughs, confidences shared. Cherishing those post-rehearsal "putting the world to rights" drinks at the Cooper's Arms in Rochester with much fondness xx Rest in peace our dear friend. Love from us both xx

I only met you and Heather last year when our boats were moored opposite each other. We all instantly bonded and became good friends. It's really hard to believe that you have now left us so soon and way too early. You will be missed. Rest in peace my friend. Much love to Heather and all the family. Patti x

We keep thinking about Simon and how you must be feeling Heather (and Simon's other loved ones). We smile when we think of the times we spent together over the last few years on the Canal de Deux Mers - the apéro, meals, celebration of the King's Coronation, etc. We so enjoyed Simon's dry sense of humour, conversations and sense of fun.
