Today, we said goodbye to our wonderful Annette (my cousin who I called auntie Annette). She was like a second mum to me, my squad Mum.
Annette, you are going to be so sorely missed by everyone. My heart goes out to Nige, Matt, Hayley & all of the immediate family, friends, neighbours at this difficult time.
She was my biggest supporter - always there, every day at every class without fail, with her bright smile, loving heart and party moves.
She is truly one of the most supportive, positive and kind people I ever met. I am heart-broken and can barely read the screen writing this.
Annette:
I'll miss seeing you every single day in class, twice a day,
I'll miss seeing you at the top of the squad leaderboard,
I’ll miss our chats about rubbish telly, like Love is Blind,
I'll miss finding you in Morrisons café while we waited for our cars to be washed,
I'll miss you dancing to Zumba in your kitchen - your absolute fave - with your little disco light on.
I’ll miss your ABBA requests,
I'll miss seeing you workout live in your caravan,
I'll miss you at every family and squad get-together.
I'll miss you every time I look at my wedding photos and all the special memories we've made over the years.
The skies must have needed an angel because they picked the very best. Rest in peace, Annette and when it's my time, I'll bring your disco light with me and we can do a little Zumba sesh together 💔
