We invite you to attend the funeral In loving memory of Nicola Louise Sutherland who sadly passed away on 15th October 2024.

We ask that you attend wearing usual funeral attire, but include a small pink token (such as a tie, badge or a flower) in memory of Nick.

You are also invited to join the wake which will be held at The Rugby Club after the ceremony, at 12.15pm with light refreshments.

For those who may not be able to attend, the link for the livestream of the service will be shown here.

Anyone who knew Nick only had good things and funny stories to say. She was always the most compassionate, caring, and friendly person in the room. She had the most genuine laugh, and the most incredible singing voice.

Nick grew up in Tamworth, fell in love with her soulmate, and brought up three beautiful girls. No matter the situation, she always found a way to look on the bright side - or a reason to get another dog. Whenever possible, Nick would also always find a reason for cake - Victoria sponge especially.

In the last year, she battled brain cancer like a champ. It was hard, it took a lot out of her, and she didn't deserve it. She didn't deserve any of the hardships she went through.

The last year brought one thing to light though - she got to know really just how much she was loved, and by so many people.

So very sorry that I couldn't attend the funeral and it's only because they won't let me out of hospital to go. I treasure all memories of the time we spent together and in our messaging. May God bless you Nicky and keep you in his care 🙏 ❤️ xxx

Nicky, you were such a warm, genuine lady. I met you whilst our children were at coton Green school. Always had a good old natter at the school gates with you and your lovely dad. You will be so very sadly missed by many many people. Your girls are beautiful and each one of them has a little bit of you. Sending all my love to Sean and the girls. Xxx

Beautiful Nicky, you will be so very missed and always remembered. So very glad we had some good old natters and cake this last 18 months, despite the distance for such a long time, getting together was just like when we were kids at family gatherings like no time had passed at all. Love you lady ❤️
