After a short illness at home on October 21st aged 84 years, Jack ‘John’.
A devoted husband to Jean. A dearly loved dad to Julie, John and Andrew and father-in-law to Alain and Maureen. A special grandad to Lawrence and Patrick. A cherished brother to Elizabeth. Also a dear uncle and great friend to many.
Family and friends please meet on Friday November 8th for a service in the Independent Methodist Church, Easington Lane at 10:15am. Committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium at 11:30am. Please wear a splash of colour, traditional funeral attire is not expected.
All are welcome afterwards to continue the celebration of Jack’s life at Hetton Lyons Cricket Club. Family will arrive approximately 12:15pm. Family flowers only. Donations kindly received in memory of Jack for the work of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
