On 14th October 2024, suddenly but peacefully, at home, Dewsbury, aged 88 years, Winnie, dearly loved wife of the late Adrian, much loved mum of Christine and Judith and beloved Granny of Issy and Rory, a very dear sister, sister-in-law, auntie and great auntie. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph’s RC Church, Batley Carr on Friday 15th November 2024 at 12 noon followed by private committal and interment at Dewsbury Cemetery. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation and meet at the church. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box for the benefit of Martin House Hospice and Yorkshire Cancer Research.

On behalf of Judith and Christine, could I thank everyone who came to Winnie's funeral and made it such a special occasion. Also wanted to thank everyone for their very generous donations on the day, online and by cheque and we have sent a donation to Martin House Children's Hospice £430.25 and Yorkshire Cancer Research £212.75.
