It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, Dad and Grandad, David Alexander Waxman. After a short illness, David passed away peacefully on the 16th October, 2024.

David embraced life – once met, never forgotten. Always a wise word to be said or a deep debate to be had, David loved nothing more than good conversation.

David enjoyed the simpler things in life. His love of photography often took him on long walks to Ashridge, being at one with nature, especially during bluebell season. His eclectic music collection reflected his love of all genres of music, from rock to soul, classical to country. David was passionate about the NFL and more recently, weekends were spent studying drivers, cars and tracks, where he followed the Formula One meticulously.

Becoming a grandparent was time that David treasured. From Westlife concerts to walks in the woods, playing backgammon and schools runs – he loved it all.

We welcome all who knew David to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was deeply loved and will be sadly missed.

We ask for family flowers only please.

Donations can be made to Keech Hospice, where David spent his final days.

There is no dress code, please do not feel obliged to wear black.

Valerie, Emma and Rebecca.

So sorry to hear this news about Dave. He was my manager and friend back in the early days of HP when Apollo joined us. He was a great mentor to me and a very genuine person. I learned a lot from him in those days. I loved your parties and particularly enjoyed going through his vinyl collection with him. I’m sure he will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Richard

Dave and I spent many years working together at Apollo. I had the joy of meeting his family on several occasions and cherish those memories.

I’m deeply sorry to hear of his passing and wish you all the best in the days ahead.

I worked with Dave at Apollo in MK and remember him fondly. Always looking after his team and not afraid of giving me a hard time if he thought we could do better in helping his team. Very sad to hear this news and my condolences to all of his family. Thank you Dave for all you did, your friendship and camaraderie.

This indeed is very sad news. David was instrumental in my Hewlett Packard journey, he interviewed me and thankfully felt I was the right person for the job. He always took an interest in people and their lives outside the job. He will be missed. He always had a smile. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.

Thinking of you all at this sad time, I first met Dave when I joined Apollo in 1986, he was very helpful in my career and a great conversationalist about so many subjects . The parties at Dave and Vals were things of legend.
