Our wonderful dad was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) on the 28/08/24. After 6 weeks and 1 day of being diagnosed Jamie sadly lost his life from this devastating disease.

Jamie’s cancer was a very rare type of cancer and statistics state that only 6 in 100,000 are diagnosed. There is currently no early screening options available and no symptoms are shown until it has become advanced.
In dad’s case this meant by the time he was diagnosed sadly it wasn’t curable.

More research needs to be available to prevent this disease taking more lives and peoples loved ones so young.
As traditional as dad was when it comes to funerals he would definitely prefer people to kindly donate to this charity to help others.

Thank you from Jamies children and family for your support

There's not enough words that describe the loss that Georgia, Tyler, Jamie’s sisters, Ann, close friends and family are feeling right now. I hadn’t seen Jamie since we all moved from Dagenham which means it’s been a whole lifetime. But I can’t ever forget him, his smile, him being cheeky to my dad at football and my dad just never being able to be mad at him. The world has lost a great soul, one of the good ones. I wish I’d been able to see him, just one last time and see that cheeky smile. Georgia, Tyler my heart aches for you, your dad was is a legend, Tyler what a whippet he was on the pitch, loud very loud and the swearing was another level. Georgia you probably don’t remember me but I’m sure I’ve got photo of you holding a talc bottle at mum and dads house in Dagenham you can’t of been more than 6 months old.

I think I could go on forever about Jamie.

Georgia, Tyler please remember how great your dad is, and he will live through you forever. All my love to you both.

What a guy, what an absolute diamond Jamie was and will forever be. Fly high Jamie you touched so many people’s hearts 🩵
