MATIER JOHN (CHARLIE) Died 13th October 2024. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen, much loved father of Jacqueline, Arlene, Doreen and Roberta, a loving father-in-law, devoted grandfather of Craig, Billy, Graeme, Gareth, Aynsley, Natalie and Carl and a cherished great grandfather. Funeral service to be held from his daughters home 20 Rutherglen Street on Monday 21st at 9.30am and afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium for 11.20am. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Cairnmartin Court Care Home c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors, 117-121 Shankill Road, Belfast, BT13 1FD. Will be sadly missed by his loving family circle. We shared so much together, laughter, joy and tears, now all we have are memories of all those happy years.

It’s with the deepest sadness that I say farewell to my uncle Charles. A Linfield FC stalwart to the end
and a better uncle you couldn’t ask for even tho he give off as our manger at Springmartin rangers many years ago. Rest in Piece
