My dearest Dave. You are without doubt the kindest and friendliest person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Your warm smile and infectious laugh will stay with me forever. You always had time for everybody❤️(and the best snack draw of any site manager I’ve ever worked with)! Our friendship grew outside of work and I will cherish the amazing memories we’ve made over the years- from watching Bristol City together to writing you a resignation letter! I am so proud to call you my friend.

I wish I had more time to tell you how much I appreciated you, but even if we lived forever I don't think it would of been long enough. Thank you for making me the man I am today and for showing me how to be a good Dad. Until we meet again, love you Dad❤️

I'm not great with words but I'll try to do you some justice Dave You was always happy to see me when I would come round and simply say hey ash nice to see you and when I would leave you would almost always say thanks for coming round ash it was great to see you I've only just realised how much a little thing like that meant to me and that's what I'm going to miss the most it chokes me up just thinking about it I just wanted to express in some small way how much I respected you and how much I will miss you

What a guy X

Dave had a great sense of humour and always had a smile! Will cherish the fond memories growing up. Spent our childhood playing with Sammy at his house, I’m sure he dreaded us knocking on the door everyday :)

Top man and an amazing family man!

Will be greatly missed by all ✨
