Robin was a true friend and a gentleman.
He was always very jovial with a great zest for life, loving sport and food with great enthusiasm. His laughter was infectious and he was a pleasure to be with. We spent happy times together in Florida
We’ll miss him greatly.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes to Jenny ,Abigail and Annabelle.

genuinely am so saddened to hear of the loss of Robin. In the short time I knew him, he always made me laugh and smile. It was a privilege to be in his company, and I never left him without a smile on my face. He had the most uplifting and infectious personality that probably brought more joy to people's lives than he ever would have realised.
He always made me laugh when I spoke to him. When he would call the office, I would end the phone call feeling lighter, happier and with a chuckle (that happens rarely if ever in this industry or in life let’s be honest!) I would genuinely say to my colleagues in the office, once I had put the phone done how funny Robin is and usually, I would repeat the jokes he had just told me, and we would all have a giggle.

I had a meeting in his flat once and he held up a drawing that one of his grandchildren had made. It was a standard children's drawing of a big happy face and a “stick man” body. Robin told me it was of him, like a portrait, and he asked if I could see the resemblance. He was so proud of this drawing and we both had a chuckle together.

He was a joy to work with in the little time that I did, and I am so saddened for you all. Even though he was poorly, he was still always positive, happy and would greet you with a fist pump and smile. We should all try and be a little more Robin 😊 x

Sadly the end of an era and he will be greatly missed buy all those who knew him. Robin was a great lover of all sports and a really true sportsman. I spent many a happy hour or four on the golf course with him. It was always fun. I'll never forget that with two others we won the Boyce Hill Pro-am.
Sincere condolences go out to Jenny, Abiigail, and Annabelle.

My fondest memory of Robin was when he was Treasurer of Chalkwell Bowls Club and I did the Audit at his lovely apartment and left with a bag of vegies from his allotment which my wife Maureen greatly appreciated. He was also a scout at 1st Chalkwell Bay Scouts at Crowstone Church but I do not think we were their at same time However he will be remembered at the Next Old Gold Association meeting - Old Gold was their Scout Scarf colour.
I will mis Robin on the Green at Chalkwell

You made me laugh and smile. Your generosity, humour and positive spirit will be forever missed. I hope you wont mind if we use 'torro' in your memory. 'Kiss me George' however, may not make the cut!
