Enid Mayhew passed away suddenly on 30th September, 2024 aged 88 years. Dearest wife of the late Roger for 66 years. Loving aunt and friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service at St Peter & St Mary's Church, Stowmarket on Monday 21st October, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial in Stowmarket Cemetery. Enid Mayhew, born on June 17, 1936, in Stowmarket, Suffolk, was a cherished member of her community and beloved by all who knew her. On January 18, 1958, she married Roger Mayhew, with whom she shared a loving and devoted partnership of more than 60 years, until his passing.

Enid's life was filled with simple joys—her love of nature, her deep connection to her local community, and the friendships she cultivated over the years. She was a familiar and friendly face in Stowmarket, where she spent her life, bringing warmth and care to those who crossed her path.

On September 30, 2024, Enid peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, unwavering kindness, and gentle love. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
