In loving memory of Malcolm Chambers who sadly passed away on 19th September 2024
Dad was always the light and soul. No matter what struggles or problems he had he would always put others first and cheer them up when they were down.
Dad has always struggled with his chest for as long as i can remember. When I was old enough to understand I was told it was copd. Dad never let it stop him from living life he always enjoyed family days out with us kids and grandkids and always looked forward to holidays at least twice a year. As years went by the copd attacks got worse to which he finally got a c pap machine from the hospital which gave him a whole new lease of life. Until June this year dad was diagnosed with oesophagus cancer. He kept his spirits high and kept a brave face. September came and dad rapidly declined resulting him going into hospital. Unfortunately dad was very weak the cancer was starting to get aggressive and caused the worse copd attack we had seen. Dad took it upon himself as he didn’t want to suffer anymore and was soo weak and frail he wanted no more treatment and just want to go in peace. That same evening dad waited for me to go back up the hospital to see him and peacefully passed away im my arms. He will be missed dearly as he touched soo many hearts but he isn’t suffering and he isn’t in anymore pain. Like he said he will always be with us.
