David Kenneth Murphy (13 Apr 1949 - 12 Sep 2024)

Remembering you always with a smile on your face and a cheery "see you later mate as you left". Happy times spent with you and the Family both at home and in Florida bring special memories. RIP Dave, you will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. xx

Thinking of you all during the funeral. We will miss Dave and will always remember his big laugh and smile and how much he loved you all and especially his granddaughters! I remember his cakes he used to make for them and seeing the room he did up for them in the house ❤️ Another nice memory is Kaitlan’s bonfire night party that we had at his house. Sending lots of love at this difficult time! Xxxxxx

We would like to invite you to David Murphy’s final farewell Thursday 24th October - 3.30pm At Bluebell Hill Crematorium West Chapel.

The hurst will leave from 11 Valley View Road (ME1 3PB) at 3.05pm for those wanting to join the procession.

Motorbikes/Scooters to go from T Allen funeral directors on Maidstone Road ME1 3DT (5 minutes from Dave’s house), follow the hurst then wait in Bus Stop lay-by, Maidstone Road opposite Valley View Road and await for Hurst to collect the family; (to avoid congestion in Valley View), then join the Hurst and funeral procession along Maidstone Road to Bluebell Hill crematorium. 

Bikers must turn into car park upon entry to Crematorium, directors will usher you.

After the ceremony please join us at Edenwood Place, 15 Old Chatham Road, Bluebell Hill ME20 7EZ (previously Kitts Coty) to share stories; raise a toast, share food together and celebrate Dave’s life ♥️
There will be plenty of parking for all, if car park is full we have permission to park along the lane.

Please feel free to send flowers if you choose too, flowers to go to T Allen Funeral Services, Maidstone Road Rochester.

We haven’t been able to choose a big charitable organisation for people who wish to donate, so we will put out collection boxes at the wake for local charities who support and work directly Dave’s local area including the food bank.
