Toni Patricia Disbury (25 Feb 1960 - 26 Sep 2024)

In loving memory of Toni Patricia Disbury who sadly passed away on 26th September 2024 after a long and brave battle against MS.
Toni was born to Erica and Roy Buddle in 1960, and grew up with her brothers Martin and David. She attended Charlton Primary School and subsequently Castlemount Secondary School.
She began her career as one of the first intake of Nurses at the William Harvey Hospital. Her nursing career took her to Health Visiting, where she completed a diploma at Canterbury Christ Church University to work at the newly opened Pencester Surgery, where she enjoyed many years working with babies and families.
Toni met Steve in 1977, married in 1981, buying their first house together in Folkestone Road. They welcomed children Siobhan in 1983 and Thomas in 1987.
In 1995 they moved to Salisbury Road and took on a beautiful Victorian house, a labour of love project. The family had many happy years in this beautiful home, hosting parties and Christmases throughout their time there. Sadly in 1996 she was diagnosed with MS but continued to live life to the full despite this.
In 2013 they moved to Whitfield to a beautiful bungalow suitable for Tonis changing MS condition.
Throughout Toni's life she always kept her sparkle and sense of humour which you all know so well as her friends and family.
