MCFARLAND WILLIAM – Died 7TH October 2024, peacefully at home,3 Glenvarna Drive. Beloved husband of Mary, dearly loved father of Lisa and William, cherished grandfather of Jonathan and his wife Jenna, Melissa and fiancé Jonathan and Joshua, great grandfather of Lucie, Holly and Samuel. House strictly private. A Funeral Service will be held from his home (address above) on Thursday 10th October at 10.30am and afterwards to Antrim Six Mile Cemetery at 12noon. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Marie Curie c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors, 11-13 Jennings Park, Newtownabbey, BT37 0NB. Will be sadly missed by his loving family circle. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5

Just found this wee newspaper cutting of my wee daddy willie John McFarland & all his good mates heading to a Glasgow rangers match..will miss all his stories & laughs we all had with him.He was simply the best! Love you daddy ❤️Lisa William & family xo

As a lifelong friend to William I am very saddened to hear of his death he was a real gentleman in my eyes I offer my sincere condolences to Mary and the family circle he will be sadly missed, I also offer my condolences to big John and Jimbo, may William rest in peace
