In loving memory of Garry Clemo who sadly passed away on 24th September 2024

Gaz, was born in Truro and raised in Marazion. He was proud to be Cornish and loved nothing more than returning home as often as he could, to be with family and friends. As a young lad he was destined for bigger things! Leaving Cornwall to join the Armed Forces; He served with the Coldstream Guards, which is just one of his proudest achievements, with many a story to tell! After serving his time, Gaz settled in London and went on to have a career in security, working at Canary Wharf. He loved his work and went on to make lifelong friends, that he considered as family. He was content here for 8 or more years, until he got itchy feet, just knowing that there was something more out there for him.

Through the charity, Help For Heroes, he found his calling! This was to be in TV and Production and after three years of training, he stepped up as a Grip. Here he was at his best and loved his work and the challenges that came with it. Without a doubt he would have gone on to be one of the best in the industry.

Gaz, could walk into a room and everyone would know it! His personality and presence were as big as his heart. He worked hard and played hard making many friends along the way.
He has been taken from us far too soon, but boy! what a life he lived! He did things his way, when and how he wanted and we all loved him for it.

For those wishing to attend: No Dress Code
Date/Time: 21st of October at 12 o'clock
Address: Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne, Cornwall TR14 0BL

Gaz I don't really know what to say, I had found out about your passing today when you were laid to rest. I'm sorry I had drifted so far away from me friends over the years. I have some really great memories growing up around and with you. I'm super sad that you are no longer here. I hope you are resting and I really hope you knew how loved you were because so many people loved a lot about you.

I'm going to miss you so much, and honestly, the reality of it hasn't fully sunk in yet. We grew up together, and even though we drifted apart in our adult lives, I always thought there would be a day when we'd catch up, fill in the gaps, and share stories from the years we spent apart.

I’ll always treasure the memories we created together as kids. Every one of those moments will stay with me forever. Thank you for being an amazing cousin and such a wonderful friend. I love you, and I'll miss you deeply. X

Woahhh…we went through a lot together. I thank you forever for encouraging me to move to London and being my tour guide, even if some of your facts were questionable 🩷
When we were spending time with our families especially all the nieces and nephews, are some of my most treasured memories. You truly were one of a kind and I’m very grateful for the time we had together. I wish I didn’t have to write this, the world has lost a real character.
My heart and love goes to all of your lovely family 💜💜

He once came to my South Yorkshire village for a weekend and the locals acted like I’d brought a celebrity home with me! He’s still talked about today and was my very good friend!

3 feature films in just under 3 months with you being part of our team nade all the difference! Someone that was so similar to me in many ways and understood my mood ( good and bad days). Who will ask me first thing in the morning “what’s for lunch today?” now?! You will be missed!
Sending my condolences to the family and friends!
