Rita Ellis (1 Aug 1935 - 30 Sep 2024)

I worked with Rita many years ago. Such a lovely lady. She always commented on my family photos and updates and genuinely cared. I loved seeing her FB posts about her family and trips out. RIP Rita xx

I worked with Rita many years ago and we stayed in touch intermittently over the years since.
She was a genuinely warm woman, always interested in other people with a great love of life.
Her beautiful handwriting on the Christmas card envelope was always a a sign that the festive season was upon us.
I will always remember her with great fondness and I know she will be hugely missed by her family.

A truly beautiful soul. We shared many thoughts about our deceased husbands and family members. We shed tears together but laughed a lot too.

Remembering Rita, a lovely inspirational lady. She messaged me many years ago after I posted a photo of my late Mum as a girl with other girls from Keighley Girls Grammar School and Rita said she was on the photo too and she remembered my Mum. I was so happy to meet Rita at the carers resource social group in Steeton and again many years later at the bereavement support group. She was an inspiration to everyone to live life to the full and she is sadly missed.
