Julie-Anne ‘Jules’ Watson (26 Apr 1959 - 25 Sep 2024)

It is with the greatest sadness that the family of Julie-Anne ‘Jules’ Watson (nee Fenwick) announce that after a long illness, Jules passed away, peacefully, on Wednesday 25th September, at 65 years of age.

Jules was a wonderful wife to Wal, the most loving mother to Claire and Abigail, mother-in-law to James, treasured Nanny to Maddox and Mala, and caring sister and sister-in-law to Jill and Mike.

Jules was born in 1959 to the late Alma and Roly Fenwick and had a happy and fulfilling childhood as part of a loving family along with her big sister Jill. Throughout her life Jules helped and cared for countless children and adults, and made an impact on so many lives.

Jules will be missed by all those who knew her and all those whose lives she touched.

A service to celebrate the life of Jules will be held on Friday 25th October at York Crematorium at 11.40am. You are welcome join us afterwards at The Marcia Inn at Bishopthorpe as we gather for refreshments and to share our favourite, happy memories of Jules.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations are made to Alzheimer’s Society, via the link or in cash at the funeral service.
