Lawrence William Ashman (Loz) passed away at home on November 27th, 2015 aged 43 years. Loving son of Bill and Jean (deceased) and much loved brother of Dawn.
Lawrence resided in Erdington all of his life but for a short time when he lived in Bournemouth from 2000 - 2004 where he was employed by Bournemouth Borough Council.
Upon his return he helped care for Mom and travelled to spend time with her each week.
More recently he worked as a volunteer at Shelter, Erdington which he enjoyed as he made friends there and it allowed him to travel around the West Midlands.
Lawrence loved the outdoors and so he volunteered for the Birmingham City Council Parks Department where he was involved in a variety of tasks.
Lawrence enjoyed cycling and his occasional days out with friends to Cannock Chase. He liked watching football, listening to music, and caring for his pet cat.
Following the death of Mom in 2014, he attended Osborne School where he enrolled on night school courses which included Sign Language and Tai Chi.
Lawrence was shy, quiet and well mannered. He was kind and helpful and will be sadly missed by family, friends, neighbours and colleagues.
Lawrence will travel past his home and Hunton Hill before arriving at the service which will be held at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium , Tamworth Road, Sutton Coldfield, B756LG at 10.30 am on Thursday 17th December 2015.
Afterwards a reception will be held at the Wylde Green, Birmingham Road, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1DH at 12 noon.
