Rest in peace Tony good to have known you as Greg’s dad said at his wedding to me you were the “man mountain” and very friendly with it. See you one day again

Had the pleasure of meeting Tony when working together on Teesside and in those few months he made a lasting impression. A lovely man who commanded great respect but made time for you no matter who you are.
The world will miss you Tony, rest easy.

Having known Tony only the past few years he was already “famous” when our paths crossed. Larger than life with a huge heart and equally huge personality. A big man with a big sense of humour too…. Always joking and playing up to those around him. Like many who knew him I liked him.

A year ago we began working together on a big job on Teesside. Tony settled immediately and became the “go-to” guy solving problems and driving progress. So much energy and enthusiasm - he worked hard and played hard. But underneath the tough shell was someone suffering and in pain. We talked and talked and talked…. He liked to talk!

I’ll miss him but hope now he has found peace. Gone way too soon for sure but I’m glad to have known him
