My cousin Greg,
Some of my best childhood memories are the times I spent with you. We were so close as youngsters and were always having great adventures. From having door stop jam sandwiches over Vicky Park with nan and grandad, (usually sat by the reindeer), getting the bus to Trafalgar square with nan to feed the pigeons, riding our bikes and playing in the woods where you lived and of course ice skating at Lee Valley. Some of the best memories children can have and they were all made with you. Thank you.
You were the kindest soul with the biggest heart and I can see you will be missed by so many.
I know you were your happiest on the water, and I totally understand that as I am my happiest in the water. You will be in my thoughts and heart whenever I swim in the sea, which is often.
Rest in peace Greg and may you forever sail the calm blue seas. Love forever, Jenny. Xxx

Thank you for your kind donation

Dear Mrs SAVAGE,

I’m writing to thank you for your really thoughtful donation of £153.80. I’m so grateful for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

At The Salvation Army, being able to help struggling families is very important to us. At our centres across the UK our officers, staff and volunteers will be doing all they can to support struggling families. This season we’re running activities, from after school clubs to help lower food costs for families struggling with the cost-of-living, to uniform banks which ease clothing costs.

We really couldn’t do our work without you and your continuing belief in us and the valuable support you give to us. You are as important in bringing about change in people and in giving hope as we are. I hope that thought stays with you today.

In case you need it for your records, your donation reference is DZKKUGGU.

Yours sincerely,

Lieut-Colonel Nick Coke

On behalf of The Salvation Army
