Ronald Johnson, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, at Hawthorne nursing home. Born on March 22, 1939, in Long Eaton, England, Ron lived a full and vibrant life.
Ron was a dedicated heating engineer, known for his expertise and reliability. Outside of work, he was a passionate Nottingham Forest supporter, a lover of horses, and a thrill-seeker who enjoyed steam trains, rock and roll dancing, war weekend getaways, and caravan camping.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; their children, Caroline, Paul, Lee, and Adrian; his sister, Margaret; and his brothers, David and Eric.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Parkinson's UK in memory of Ron.
Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
