On 18th September, 2024 in hospital of Thornhill, Dewsbury, aged 87 years, Yvonne, loving wife of the late Melvyn, much loved mum of Carol and Chris, very dear mother-in-law of Steve and Jan, cherished grandma of Adam, Roxanne, Luke and Natalie and beloved great grandma of Ruby, Jude, Noah, Holly, Eva, Seth, Freddie and Jack. Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Friday 11th October, 2024 at 11.15am. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

I’ve only just heard the sad news of Yvonne’s passing. She was a wonderful friend and neighbour to my family. She was the kindest of souls who never had a bad word to say about anyone. Always there with a kind word and a smile .The world had lost a pure angel but she will be safe in the arms of her beloved Melvyn
