In loving memory of Marion Hanley who sadly passed away on 17th September 2024 age 88 years
Wife to Peter for over 60 years. Mum to Pauline, Sheelagh and Tracey. Nana to Daniel, Michelle, Matthew, Charlotte, Emma and Kirsty and Great Nan to Hugo and Harry.
Our Mum will be greatly missed but she left us this message:
“Please don’t be sad! I’ve had a wonderful life! I have the best family ever! My friends are special! My neighbours are first class! What a life! I could not have asked for more!”
Mum made our world a special place to be and we will never forget her.

Marion bought us a rose called Tickled Pink, it flowers profusely every summer and will forever remind us of her.

Marion was an amazing person loved by so many wonderful people. She was the heart of Culverstone particularly our lovely school having given years to teaching children and then serving as governor. All those who she taught were delighted to see her there when they returned with their children. She met everyone with delight a truly inspirational person. She was truly blessed with an amazing, loving and close family.
