Reg Parkes (16 Dec 1937 - 9 Sep 2024)

Such a lovely man who always had a smile on his face. He was a true bandsman and it was a pleasure to have known him. RIP Reg. John and Liz.

Reg, you were always so kind and helpful in my early days of NFB. Someone I could always rely on when new to playing brass. I will always remember that and am so thankful you were part of the band.

Uncle reg you will be missed and who am I going to chat to about saints and have a surprise visit when you come and hunt me down in the stadium. Who’s going to wind me up at Nans now, my love goes out to auntie Muriel and Ian and family.

In memory of the most knowledgeable/educational man that taught me so much in life, from spending weekends at my grandad regularly to going the IOW yearly, a true legend in life! I learnt so much from you, love you so much and you will be missed so much. Delilah always adored you so much!

Such sad news. Reg was a lovely man and a fantastic euph player. We miss him at NFB. It was great to see Reg play again last summer. Our love to Muriel, Ian and all the family.

Reg will be missed BT all his band colleagues. He was a lovely person and gentleman. Rest in peace.
