In loving memory of Kathleen McCarthy who sadly passed away on 7th September 2024.

Mother, sister, daughter, wife, traveller & teacher, Kathy liked to keep busy and had many interests in life. Never one to sit still Kathy loved to socialise, talking to those around her and going out to meet people. She was full of advice for any occasion or problem and would always extol the virtues of getting a good education.

Kathy achieved much in life despite many hardships and setbacks. She went on to contribute to society through teaching and by being politically active. She expressed herself through her art, producing paintings of many subjects from realism through to abstract.

Kathy will be sadly missed by many people.

In warm recollection of Kathy, a highly esteemed colleague, counsellor and fellow traveller- but more importantly- my loyal, supportive and cherished friend.
