In loving memory of Alan Peter Robinson who sadly passed away on 21st August 2024. Alan was a kind man who would go out of his way to help anyone. He was devoted to his family, especially to his wife Patricia, who religiously sat with her for hours everyday at her care home.
Alan was friendly to all and could always make everyone he met smile and laugh. He would terrorize the staff at the dialysis unit along with his friends, and enjoyed his trips to Yorkshire to spend time with ‘the lads’ his friends from his youth.
He adored his grandchildren, and was so proud of them, bragging to whoever he could about them, and playfully teased them whenever he could.
They broke the mould when they made my dad, he was one of a kind and the loss of him has left a huge hole in our lives. He will live forever on in our hearts and memories.

Alan Yvonne Sophie Preisler donated £28 in memory of Alan

In memory of Alan, £28 for our 28 years of being neighbours. RIP, Yvonne, Alan & Sophie xxx

Alan, You will be greatly missed by both family and neighbours, especially the many weekend chats out the front working on cars, hearing the stories of your many trips abroad. The October Beer Festival, your old friends meet up in the garden centre that you enjoyed doing and your numerous stories of training Lucas car mechanics around the UK and your knowledge of car braking systems that are second to none, to name but a few. As well as missing hearing your garden giggles with your grandchildren but most all as others have said, your infectious laugh and smile, which will keep them entertained where you are now and which we hold dearly. May you rest in peace and God Bless, Alan, Yvonne & Sophie (Your Neighbours of 28 years)

What to say about my Uncle Alan (aka Algy). Claire and I would always be so excited when you came to visit - stopping off on one of your many long drives for a coffee, a chat, a funny story (usually about mum), car advice and a great big hug. Daft as a brush and dearly loved. You are so missed ❤️
