On 28th August 2024, suddenly at her home in Mirfield, aged 40 years, Gemma, loving wife of Gaz, much loved mum of Abigail and Isabel, precious daughter of Dawn and David, and loved sister of Ash, a very dear sister in law and auntie.
Family and friends are asked to gather at St Mary’s Parish Church, Mirfield on Wednesday 25th September 2024 at 2pm for a service of thanksgiving for Gemma’s life, this will be followed by interment in the churchyard.
Flowers will be received at George Brooke’s Room of Repose, Mirfield.

Aww Gem, so heartbreaking to hear you’ve passed away. You were an amazing best bud to me and always there through for me thro good and bad times of my life since we met at high school. A true friend. You were creative, smart, funny with a heart of gold. 💛 very spiritual and loved to sing along to a bit of barbra Streisand, celine Dion and Emily sande. I’m going to miss you so much! .. My thoughts are with your family and I know now as hard as it will be you’ll be at peace but always watching over them as a guardian angel xx love Lisa

Shocked and saddened to read about the passing of Gemma whom I lived near for many years I remember her gorgeous curly hair mischievous smile bundle of energy and fun beautiful girl and later I met again through work I send my love strength and healing ❤️🩹 thoughts to Dawn and Dave in life you have been through so much trauma and loss you will be crippled with grief my thought to you 💕💕
