Dearest Lin, your death has really come as a big shock to me and still can't believe you're now with your maker. Thanks for your friendship for all the years. I can't stop reading all your emails especially the last one about your operation on the 16th August. Words can't express how am feeling now. I realised that as much as we loved you, God loves you most and I know that you will find a resting place in the lord where there will be no more pains or sorrows. Fare thee well my friend.

Florence (SCB)🙏

Lin was always so full of life, energy and positivity and it’s hard to comprehend that her time came to an end so suddenly. We enjoyed many chats over the last year, well Lin chatting, me listening! I’m glad I got to know Lin, brief that it was. Rest in peace x

In loving memory of a good friend. A very caring person who always had time for everyone. I will always remember our many conversations putting the world to rights on the 8.05 am train to London Bridge. Bernard x

I was shocked to hear the news of Lins passing as I'd only heard from her the week before. She'd messaged me to let me know of the passing of a mutual Rothschild work colleague.
I send my condolences and deepest sympathy to her family and friends 💜

To say that I was shocked, saddened and devastated when I heard of Lin’s passing is an understatement.

Life can sometimes seem so unfair, but I’d like to think that Richard simply couldn’t cope without his beloved by his side and the angels took Lin to be with him.

Lin was one of the kindest, most humble, welcoming and inclusive people I have ever met and I will never forget how that kindness came into play shortly after I had given birth, and needed to to have surgery for cancer.
Lin came to visit on Friday’s and brought us lunch and after we ate, Lin “forced” me to go to bed to get some rest while she looked after the baby - that just sums up who Lin was - always thinking of others.

To Lin, my friend, be kind to Richard and don’t give him a hard time when he wants another glass of wine, wherever you are in the universe. 😊
The nights at the wine society will always be remembered and the laughs we had.
Thank you for your counsel, for your ear and for your unwavering and loyal friendship. I can’t say / measure how much you will be missed, but I can say that my world got a little darker when I heard you had gone.
Rest easy, dear Lin.
Lesley x

Thank you
