As most of you will know my wife, Suzanne Jones, passed away on August 9th following a brave fight against cancer.

Sue’s funeral will take place on Monday 9th September at St Mary’s and All Saints Church, Bingham, NG13 8AL at 10:30am. Parking at the church is limited, but there are streets around which have plenty of space and are only a short walk away: St Mary’s Road, Grove Road, and Rutland Road.

The cremation will follow at 12pm at Rushcliffe Oaks Crematorium, Stragglethorpe, NG12, 2PY for those who wish to attend.

Alternatively, you can continue to the wake straight after the church service which will be held at The Bingham Bowling Club, NG13 8AH. It is a short walk to here from the church.

Sue asked for no black to be worn at the funeral. Immediate family flowers only, please - should you wish there is a link to donate to the RNLI instead, a charity Sue loved and supported throughout her life.

Best wishes,
Colin and the girls

In memory of Sue. The kindest, bravest, most selfless person you could ever wish to meet who always put other’s needs before her own. Sue was highly respected by everyone in the Bingham Girlguiding community where she was a Rainbow and Brownie Leader for many years. She has inspired the lives of many little girls and been a mentor and role model and friend to the other volunteers lucky to have known her. Rest in Peace Sue we will cherish the happy memories and always remember you. Love and thoughts to Colin and Sue’s Girls. XX
