In loving memory of Martin James Bett who sadly passed away on 24th August 2024.
Martin was a much loved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Martin had an amazing sense of humour, touched the hearts of everyone he met and always helped wherever he could.
You are welcome to join us to celebrate Martin’s life on Thursday 12th September at 13:30 at Bramcote Crematorium.
Martin wished for minimal flowers and has picked his own funeral flowers. Martin’s request regarding dress code was that everyone is comfortable and wearing a piece of checked clothing if possible to reflect his many shirts!
He would like any donations to be made to Maggies Nottingham, a place he found much comfort in and found many amazing friends.
Further details to follow regarding any gathering after the service.

Rebecca I can’t imagine what you are going through right now, I am actually crying reading Martins obituary. As neighbours I’m sad that we didn’t get to know Martin as much as we should. Sending you love and strength ❤️

Dear Martin,
I was blessed with your friendship for a year. Just a year. It was an honour to be your friend and your colleague. Your passion for what you did, your love for your family, your bad jokes about the C... it's amazing how you form such a bond with a person over Teams, based on shared passions, common histories and a similar vision of life. I will miss you dearly.

RIP Martin. I didn't know you long, but you were always so friendly and lit up the room with your cheeriness and humour. You'll be sadly missed.
