Helen I send my deepest condolences on the loss of lovely Ed. He was one in a million and I feel so honoured to have known him in his teen years as a dear friend of my sons, but also had the pleasure of working with him too!! How blessed we were for his time on earth. It’s a darker place without him 💙💙

My thoughts and prayers are with Ed’s family at this sad time. I met Ed in June 2018 when I started at DLG and in February 2019 we joined into the webchat team together. From the moment I met Ed, my DLG experience was uplifted every day. He had a cheeky sense of humour and smile to match. He adored us all in the team and we adored him equally. We developed an amazing bond. I felt I could to talk to him about anything and he would never judge me. He always gave me honest but caring advice. He would always come outside with me on lunch and we would just talk about life together. When I met my partner Caden he was so supportive and made an effort to get to know him and they also became amazing friends. When we started working from home during covid, me and Ed kept in touch over phone calls and text. He always made an effort to check in with me and in some of my most challenging days, Ed was there to listen. Once Ed had left DLG we continued to keep in touch and we went for food together a few times, me him and Caden. It always cheered me up seeing Ed and I’m devastated I’ll never be able to share these moments with him again. Ed, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the absolute joy you brought me, the belly laughs, the listening ear and your caring ways. My life was enriched to have a friend like you in it and I will have you in my heart forever and always. May you rest in peace my dear friend xxxx
