In loving memory of Christine Staples who sadly passed away on 5th August 2024.

Mum, Chris, Christine, Mummy Moore....

You are the kindest person I know. You always thought about others and always tried to help others. You took on other peoples worries. You were a lover of all animals (and jeez didn't we have some)!! You always made sure the animals and wildlife were fed before you. You had a lovely sense of humour and an infectious laugh. Life has been hard for you and you deserved a better life. You did pretty much everything on your own and raised us kids. I have very fond memories as kids growing up. You worked so hard to support us all and always wanted the best for us. You were a carer and a damn good one. You were a strong person and an inspiration to others. Your wisdom was astonishing, a fountain of all knowledge. You were both parents to me. You always diagnosed what was wrong with the car, you knew how to treat an animal if it was poorly. You stood up for what you believed in and would never let anyone pull the wool over your eyes.
You and I were so close and it's heartbreaking, I wasn't ready to lose you yet but the only comfort I have is you are not struggling anymore. I am the proudest daughter ever to have you as my Mum.

Love Carly xxxxxxx

I only had the pleasure to meet Chris the once but spoke to her nearly every week for 4 1/2 years all I can say is what a kind and loving lady that would help anyone or any animal at any time . Always put other people first before herself and Carly some times 😂. It’s now time to enjoy the next journey with your family and furry friends you helped over the years so enjoy . I will miss all your advice on gardening and my 2 little dogs that you helped me with . You will be very much missed by Carly and Rex . Xx

Darling Chris, I remember first meeting you in the gardens by St Jamie’s as fabs called it with Carly, how warm, friendly and generous you were and fiercely proud of Carly. Your advice and contact when I was ill was so welcome, and to know you cared meant so much.. rest in peace in a wildlife heaven, you’ll be so very missed by everyone who loved you! Jules xxxx

We have known each other for over 60years and had some really great times together but also some sad times. You have fought a very hard battle over the past years with copd but now you can rest in peace. We are going to miss you very much Chris.xx
