In loving memory of David Thomas Webster who sadly passed away on 12th August 2024, aged 69 years.

David was a very much loved husband, father, grandfather, son, son-in-law, brother, friend and colleague.
He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word, who loved nothing more than spending quality time with family and friends, usually incorporating a glass of red wine and a meal.
As a family we enjoyed many special holidays, often multigenerational, and were lucky to visit many very special locations. It was his love of holidays and the determination to do as much as possible following his diagnosis that gave us the time to make some very special memories with the children and grandchildren. As always, he exceeded all expectations with his determination to live life to the full.
David had a love of gardening, passed on to him by his Grandad and Dad, which he has also passed on to his children and grandchildren.
His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart, and he loved nothing more than having regular sleepovers, with milk and biscuits in bed, followed by bacon sandwiches for breakfast.
He was so loved by us all, and is irreplaceable. He will live on forever in our hearts.

David's family have requested that no black be worn to the funeral service, as they wish it to be a celebration of all that he was, and the amazing life they all shared.

Donations in lieu of flowers, in David's memory, would be gratefully received for the 'Heart Of Kent Hospice' and may be made online via the link on this page.

David was a seasoned professional whose expertise was frequently called upon at Heathrow Airport. For over 15 years, I had the privilege of working alongside David on numerous projects, benefiting from his extensive knowledge and commitment to excellence. Our collaboration became even more frequent when I joined the Arcadis team. David’s contributions were particularly invaluable during the challenging times of the pandemic.
During those difficult months when I found myself stationed at British Airways, often working alone for extended periods, David’s kindness and thoughtfulness were a beacon of light. He frequently reached out to check on my well-being and would often pop into the office to work alongside me, simply to offer company and support. It was this selflessness and genuine care that set David apart and made those long days more bearable.
David was more than just a colleague; he was a true friend. I could always count on him for advice and support, and he was ever willing to lend a helping hand. His presence brought warmth and camaraderie, and his absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
David’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the honour of working with him. He was a man of great integrity, compassion, and dedication, and he will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace, David. Your friendship and kindness will never be forgotten.

All I can remember is laughing with you David, I loved our conversation, was grateful of your knowledge and appreciated your long distance support at times. You are irreplaceable! May you rest in peace on your cloud (with edge protection) until we laugh again, but I can't guarantee that I am heading upwards, think it will be a bump cap for me....

David was such a special person and still my "boss" for the longest time. When I was seriously ill in hospital I remember having a tough time and waking up one day to find David sat patiently at the end of my bed waiting for me to wake up in my own time. He had made the effort to come and see me to show how much he cared - that's just the sort of person he was. Thank you David, rest well my friend. xx
