In loving memory of Michael John Brewin who sadly passed away on 1st August 2024 with his family around him.
Dad was hard working, always provided for his family, Dad had a few jobs, driving buses, working in the funeral parlour, worked in the mines, he then went on to be in the army where he spent 6 Years, dad then went back to being a miner and went on to being a senior overman. Dad took early retirement, but then did some security work.
The best dad, grandad, great grandad and a true friend.
Dad was loving, caring and known has a true gentleman by many. Dad grew up in Ollerton and spent most of his life there, dad was 1 of 10 siblings to Laura and Tom. Dad met Pauline our beautiful mum they then got married in October 1966 and went on to have 5 children Donna Alison, Paul, Michael and Wayne. Dad was married to mum for 53 years until mum sadly passed away in 2020, which left a huge void in dad’s life. Dad loved playing golf and loved fishing. In 2022 dad moved to Worksop to live with his daughter Donna, son in law Steve and adopted our dogs Blue and Bella, who he spoilt rotten. He loved going abroad with mum and then they went on to caravan holidays with Donna , Steve and the dogs. Dad loved spending time with all his family Donna Steve, Ali Ernie, Paul, Helen, Hayley. Dad especially loved the Sunday dinners which was mums tradition that his family have carried on. He loved spending time up in Warrington at his daughters Ali and son in law Ernie. His favourite place to visit whilst there was Widnes.
He loved spending time with all his grandchildren and great grandchildren and their husband wife’s and partners. Leanne, James, Catelyn, Danielle who took dad to all his appointments and made his tablet box up, Lucas , Lola, James , Courtney, Tammy, Paul, Paul-Michael, Elizabeth Rose, Jacob-Levi, James ,Maria, Isabella, Baby James, Christina, Shannon, TJ, baby TJ, Bob, Aaron, Elisha, Sophie, Jack, Mason, Kian and Beth. Sadly dad passed away before he got another new great granddaughter Kay who I know he would have loved just like he did them all. Dad had 2 remaining sisters left Annette and Carol.
Dad loved everyone when they all came to see him.
It has left a huge gap in our lives, we loved dad, grandad and great grandad so much.
RIP and carry on your love story with mum and reunited with your Son Wayne. Till we meet again dad night and godless
Your loving family and friends.

Mick, you and my beautiful sister had a magical life together. And I was blessed to be a part of your lives and your home. I hold special memories in my heart. I loved you and our times together. And one special memory was my trip down the coal mine, and you presented me with a mottie and a deputies stick. Rest in peace Mick, hold tight together. Love always Val x Eric
