Des was a former colleague, and one of my closest friends. His death has come as a shock to us all, but our minds must now be focused on supporting Pam, Rog, Chris and families. I am totally humbled to have known such a man , who exemplified, warmth, kindness, and sheer goodness. His enthusiasm was legendary, his pride and love for his family ..huge.
He may have never known the rich and varied memories he has left for so many people, who can look back at his life with affection. Those memories will be enough to sustain us. We loved you Des/... Mark and Bron x
