Great memories of Alan from the scrubs in the early 80s, thank you for your friendship and support in those early days of my career. You taught me a lot and as a bonus introduced me to rugby. Sleep well old friend.

I have many happy memories of working with Alan on B wing Full Sutton. Alan was unique and never failed to make me smile. Rest in peace Alan you'll never be forgotten

So sorry to hear of Alan’s passing. So many fond memories of our time together at Full Sutton and on the Golf Course as members at Boothferry Park Golf Club. Alan was a great friend and colleague, who will be missed by many. Rest easy Alan.
