In loving memory of Jenny Peters who sadly passed away on 16th August 2024.
A much loved wife, mom, mother-in-law and Nan. With a great grandbaby on the way.
She “adopted” several people during her life, and has been “adopted” by others, making a host of extended family around the globe.
Jenny has touched lots of other peoples lives, with everyone saying how kind, loving and thoughtful she was.
She joined Coton Green Church way back in the late 70’s and has made many good friends there.
She will be greatly missed by many, in particular, she leaves behind her husband Colin, who she married on 24th September 1966, children Sharon, Dawn, John, grand children Christopher, Daniel & Lauren and Daughters in Law Kim & Louis.
Mom has always had an issue with black for funerals, so she has asked for people to wear bright clothing if possible. Her favourite colours were green and teal with all shades in between, but anything colourful will do.

I thought it was time for another photo. Honestly, this is mom!! You guessed it, it’s Turkey!!! Her eyes were very sore, so she covered her face!!! Not sure why she added sunglasses 🤣 but it is an intriguing photo. ❤️

Turkey again, different holiday, but mom loved it there. She always said it was beautiful, and like Scotland with much better weather. I am sitting opposite them, and they are both laughing, hmmmm.

A night out with friends in Turkey. There was a typical power cut, so the lighting is a little bit bad.

Mom

I love you. I miss you and I’ve got this!
(mostly, with the support and backup from everyone 🥹- so, simply, we’ve all got this!)

The last few weeks made a bond between us all that 50 ish years couldn’t and didn’t.

Although too short, I will always thank God and be grateful for the healing we found in the last few months. For the laughter, like learning how long “a week” could really be!! I doubt anyone will ask me to visit going forward!! 😂🥹

❤️🤗

The way I will remember you. Always by the sea with your shades on and hair all messed by the wind.

Mom
You were my best friend you raised me to be strong. To stand up for what I believe in and hold fast to love.
You told me that my compassion, forgiveness, understand of others was astounding.
You held me close when I was hurting, always by my side when I needed you.
We had our moments but we found each other again and as we talked and held hands. You ask for my forgiveness.
You were a force to be reckoned with. You were strong right to the end.
I miss you mom and I wanted more time.
I held you as you took your last breath as you were there for my first.
You will be very very missed. You will always be loved!

It’s hard to word how much you made our family whole. You was always there, always a shoulder to cry on and someone to seek guidance from. I have so many fond memories with you nan. From taking me to church when I younger and I know much you loved teaching me the ways of the Lord. From having home made pancakes with ice cream for breakfast every time I stopped over on weekends. To watching finding nemo on repeat. You was the best big nan I could have ever asked for, And every time I see a sunset I will think of you and your beautiful smile when ever I come through the door to see you and your voice saying “heya lol”. .
Rest easy and I promise I will keep making you proud and I will look after Gargar and the whole family.
I love you nan unconditionally now and forever.

Mom it’s hard to put into words what you really mean to me and the love I have for you. I have always tried to be there for you and to make you proud.

You passing was a beautiful moment as I know you will be going to see the lord but it has ripped my life apart and broken me in two.

You were an amazing person to all that met you ,you were one of the most kind and loving soul you could ever meet.

I must continue my journey without you.

I will take Dad , Kim and Lauren with me along with all the love and skills that you have shown me over our years together.

You will stay in my heart and continue to make me the person I am forever.

Rest well my queen

Love you xxxx
