In loving memory of John Walter Pearce who sadly passed away on 1st August 2024. A dear friend to many, will be missed by all who knew him. The service will take place at Seamer Methodist church, Friday 23rd August at 12 Noon, Followed with the burial at Woodlands Cemetery, 1.30pm.

John Howells wrote

So sad to hear of John's passing,I was a friend of Johns from being very young to him leaving South Yorkshire,since then we lost touch. My mum used to visit him when she could and would let me know how he was.The last time I saw him was 2020 to let him know of her passing.Had I been informed I would have attended his funeral.
