I have some very fond memories of Sandra. To name but a few, I remember when she came for a visit with Auntie Mary and Angela; we had a wonderful day out to Niagara Falls. They came at Thanksgiving time and Sandra tried pumpkin pie for the first time. We had so many laughs that visit. I remember one time when I came to England and she came with Auntie Mary and Angela to pick me up at the airport. She was always very thoughtful and had a kind word. She listened intently when people spoke and really engaged with you. Most of all I remember one year when Auntie Mary came and Sandra sent us gifts. I got a stationary set - it came in a clear box and had lovely pastel coloured paper and envelopes. That was the first stationary set I had and it sparked a lifelong love of writing letters and sending things in the post. I’m so grateful to her for that. I wish her peace and take comfort knowing her soul has reached high heights. My sincerest condolences.
