I have known Enid since I was about nine years old (70 years), before she married my dad. I used to take my pony to school, and she used to take her horse. Very sorry to hear the news, Dionne. Love from your step-sister, Yula. Sadly we won’t be attending the funeral, but would love to talk to you either on the phone or over FaceTime when you feel like it. I remember Enid as a lovely person; interesting to talk to and with a nice sense of humour. We used to bump into one another when out walking, and discovered we - long ago - both came from the same part of Middlesex. She will be much missed.

I have many memories but the one I will never forget is Enid and I travelling to Ros's Hen do together in 1999 on a hot day, in her car where the windows wouldn't open (a Lada?). That was the day we really got to know each other and had a real laugh about all sorts of things - it was lovely to get to know her as a person and not just as Ros's mum. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Enid was a genuinely lovely person and she will be missed by everyone who knew her xxx
