Lynne Shephard (28 Feb 1948 - 3 Aug 2024)

This donation is to the memory of my dear sister-in-law, Lynne, who I first met many years ago in Richmond upon Thames. She gave me a lift down the M3 to my hometown and the house of my brother in Southampton. She later married my brother and also gave birth to my niece, Hannah. I have many fond memories of visiting Lynne and Roger's house in Swaythling, Southampton, where we would all gather for conversation and excellent food. I will never forget these occasions in Roger and Lynne's beautiful garden where Lynne would make everybody feel welcome and comfortable. Now it's over 40 years since I met Lynne in Richmond but I will always remember her driving her red mini and giving me a lift. When I asked how to recognise her at Richmond Station, she replied, no doubt with a twinkle in her eye, I'm a good looking blonde and I drive a red mini! This conversation still sticks in my mind. I will also never forget her lively presence at the house in Swaythling.

Will never ever forget you lovely Lynne. Dance with the Angels. Mick. xx

LYNNE HAD A LOVELY WAY OF MAKING EVERYONE ENJOY LIFE.

I met Lynne only a few times through Roger, however I think that any Lady that actively and positively supports her husbands guitar hobby when he is trying out new instruments is an absolute star :)

Lynne was a great lindancing mum, dance partner in crime, old bag and good friend and will miss her on the dance floor and us messing around and having fun with some of the line dances we danced together. My sincere condolences to Hannah and Roger. I know she will be line dancing and eating lots of chocolate in the clouds above ❤️🍫💃 xxxx

Dearest Lynne, You were one of the first to welcome me at a line dance class and we were both so much "Better when we we're Dancing" so dance on every cloud you find up there my Friend.
