In loving memory of Dianne Shirley Fraser who sadly passed away on 3rd August 2024.
Dianne was born in Nottingham on 19/5/60 and lived with her parents at 51 Alma Road. She attended a local school and after passing CSEs she attended Arnold and Carlton College of Further Education taking a 2 year OND in Business Studies course in September 1976. She passed this course in May 1978 and left college to employment as an insurance clerk at Sun Alliance on Bridle Smith Gate in Nottingham.
She met Neil Fraser at college where they dated. They were engaged in 1978 while they were both at college and married in East Bridgford Church July 1982. They moved into their own home in 1982 which was located at Bottleacre Lane in Loughborough.
Their first child Paul was born in September 1984 at the QMC in Nottingham and Dianne became the full time home maker while Neil undertook a career as an chartered accountant. As a result of Neil's career and job moves (which required a change of location), they had houses in Oakham, Bedford, Maidenhead and finally in Bingham where they lived from 1996 to date. Their second child Emily was born in May 1986 at Loughborough Hospital and their 3rd child Sara was born in June 1993 at Bedford Hospital. Eventually
During this time, Dianne had a number part time jobs including playgroup leader, scout leader and PA.
Dianne was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1997 with the initial diagnosis of relapsing remitting MS but this did not stop her continuing to be the home maker, a scout leader and various part time job roles.
Her hobbies included baking, cooking, knitting, crafting, collecting compacts and Russian dolls and shopping. She was a very active Ebayer and loved finding a bargain when shopping.
Dianne died peacefully at home with Neil by her side after she lost her battle with secondary progressive MS.
