It is with a heavy heart we announce the sudden passing of a wonderful man with the biggest heart in the early hours of Monday 28th April 2014 at Kettering General Hospital. He was born in Glasgow on 7th October 1942 to the late Robert and Agnes and was the youngest brother of Ann and the late Agnes, Robert and Johnny.

He leaves behind many broken hearts, his wife Mary to whom he was a devoted and a loving husband of 51 years, his children Cheryl, Paul, Jason and Andrew to whom he was an adored and cherished father. His grandchildren Lauren, Holly, James and Teah, to whom he was a most treasured grandad. His loving big sister Ann who he admired. Devoted son in law to John and Mary who she loved like a son. His in-laws Betty, Ellen, Jenny, Mgt, Rachel, Eddie, Andy and the late Eddie, all his nieces and nephew’s and many family and friends. His wonderful spirit and sense of humour will be celebrated on Friday 23rd May at 12:15pm at St Andrews Church of Scotland, Occupation Road followed by burial at Shire Lodge Cemetery.
