Winifred June Preston (4 Jun 1929 - 13 Jul 2024)

We have appreciated the donkeys being chosen to benefit at such a sad time. Our thoughts are with you all.
We were touched to receive donations collected in Winifred’s memory. These kind gestures of help and support will certainly aid us in our work. We care for over 6,600 donkeys on a daily basis on Sanctuary farms in the UK, Ireland and Europe and this will also enable us to give comfort and medical aid to others less fortunate through our international projects and partners. We are most grateful for Winifred being remembering in this way. Thank you.

I have known June all my life. She was a lovely lady. She will be sadly missed.

Such lovely memories of a lovely lady who always welcomed me into the family home for sleepovers, started my love for mac cheese. You gave me and have left me with a gift that I will always treasure, a life long friend, 56 years of friendship to date thank you so much. Maria xxxx
