In loving memory of John Ross who sadly passed away on 28th July 2024
Born in Glasgow, Scotland the son of David and Mary Ross, John was the youngest of 5 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Kathleen, daughter Deborah, son Stephen and grandchildren Josh, Danny, Bella and Archie. John was the ultimate family man, his life was centered around them.
John and Kathleen made the move to England in the early 1970's whereby they were surrounded by his entire family of in-laws who subsequently made the move.
Throughout his entire life John was recognized for his humour and easy going temperament. His grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces & nephews waited patiently for his many jokes and games of cards or dominoes.
Known as a true gentleman to all he came in contact with, John was always ready to provide a helping hand. He will be missed immensely by his entire family ~ his legacy will live on❤️
Funeral 2pm Tues Aug 13th at Gedling crematorium ~ immediately followed by a Celebration of John’s Life at The Greyfriars Club, Gordon Road, Thorneywood. All welcome.

We all have so many fond memories of a brilliant Uncle. Always kept us entertained! Rest in peace Uncle John 🤍 xx
I will always remember John as one of the most gentle and kind persons I ever met. A wonderful man. ❤️
