Sincere condolences to all the family.
My Mother Margaret and Beryl were neighbours and started school together when they were 5years old. They stayed friends and in contact with each other up until later years by letters, exchanging news of family and church life. Fond memories are held in our hearts. Love and God bless,
Margaret Trinder and Chris Richardson

My dear Nanny,
The best Nanny that there ever was.
I’m so lucky to have had you in my life and to have had so many wonderful memories.

The Christmases shared together, cheering me on in my running races, sharing our love of war novels together, buying me a new book each time I saw you, letting me paint your nails, watching me ride a bike for the first time, helping me decorate the table for our Sunday dinners, the 9am Saturday morning coffees at home, walking to the bakery and buying me a marshmallow cone, the Devon and Cornwall holidays, trying not to laugh when Grandad was teaching us pitch and put, watching you ride a horse and fall off, sitting with you and your friends in your line at church, coming to school to talk about your experience in the war, having a craft and toy cupboard at your house, the sleepovers at the end of your bed, the £5 pocket money if I cleaned your flat, shrinking my school trousers in the tumble dryer, taking you for coffee and cake, and so many more.

You were the most graceful, kindest and smiliest lady there was; always seeing the best in everyone. You had the most wicked sense of humour and loved getting up to mischief. You gave the best cuddles and always believed in me. I’m so honoured that you were my Nanny.

Take care, God Bless and lots of love xxx
