In loving memory of Elizabeth Ellen Ottaway who sadly passed away on 29th November 2015.

Elizabeth (known to many as Betty or Bet) was born on 1st December 1947. She was born in Kitchener Street in Dalmuir and then moved to Drumry. She was born to Sammy and Peggy Clark and was one of 5 children, Gordon, Irene, Anne, Betty and Margaret. Her childhood was very happy and she was brought up in a loving and close knit family.

She went on to marry Thomas Priestley with whom she had 2 children Jill and Lindsay in 1970 and 1973 respectively. As the girls were growing up Betty was a devoted mum who did the very best she could for her family. She had many talents and enjoyed lots of dressmaking, sewing, knitting and baking. We'll always remember her being very good with the household finances and sitting up often until the early hours to finsih off a clothing item she was making for the girls. Betty was caring, supportive and loving to her girls into adulthood and has always been a big part of their lives.

Later in life Betty married Ronald Ottaway and was a devoted wife until his sad passing in 2013. Betty is a proud nana to 3 beautiful grandchildren: Jessie, Ava and Aimee.

Betty will be missed by all her family who are dotted around the world. RIP Betty, you are always in our hearts.
