Dear Carl,

We'll all miss your ways,your views of the world and your great sense of humour.

So many sayings and quotes that I'll forever remember and carry with me....and funnily enough, we had to buy a toaster recently.

You were taken far too early, but the afterlife has gained a gem, and no doubt you'll be keeping others entertained.

Rest In peace Carlos, hopefully one day we'll meet again

I am very sorry I missed Carl's funeral last week. I was in Cornwall, a place I know Carl was fond of. Not only did I respect Carl as my line manager but Carl was someone I had a lot of respect for as a person. I always made time to listen to his stories from his earlier career and life experiences. We could often chat for hours. RIP Carl

In my short time knowing Carl, from when I first met him to more recently as a colleague, he was very knowledgeable and steadfast with his professionalism. At the same time, happy to have a chat and share a funny story or two.

My deepest condolences to family and loved ones during this difficult time. I am sure it will be a lovely service.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Carl's stories will be missed xx
