In loving memory of Valerie Margaret Elizabeth Franklin who sadly passed away on 21st July 2024.
Born in wales mum has always had it deep within her heart. Until she met and married our Dad Derek, and he then too took a place there! Mum and Dad were from what it seems inseparable their whole lives!
For us knowing that there was literally two years between them both passing has been somewhat comforting to believe they are back together again!
We want to thank you Mum for everything and being the best there is, as a mum, mum in law, nanny, sister, Aunty and friend you will always be missed, but never forgotten x
Val, you touched so many peoples lives. I’ll never forget practicing blow drying your hair in my early college days. Always flick ups for you. Now be at peace with Del. RIP beautiful lady. Lots of love Danielle, Alex and the girls xxx

In Memory of my dear sister Valerie.
We grew up together along with our brother David then our little sister Jen. We had a very happy childhood, with a wonderful Mum & Dad.
I was chatting to Val on the phone only a few days before she was taken to hospital suffering from a very severe stroke it was very bad. We had no idea what laid in front of her, while chatting like sisters do. She worked so hard to pull through, but it wasn’t to be.

In memory of my "Big Sis" Val, who has been there all my life with love, support, help and understanding in so many situations. I will miss her.
We would like to make a donation in memory of Val, to the Southend Hospital Stroke Unit for the dedication, commitment and nursing help they gave her as an Inpatient under their care. Thank you. We noticed how Staff were struggling under difficult circumstances with lack of equipment and basics needs and we hope this will help in some small way.
